Governance Charter & Member Framework — Chittagong Hayat Hospital
"When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for them."
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed of grain that sprouts seven spikes; in each spike there are a hundred grains."
Waqf (Islamic endowment) is one of the most powerful instruments of Sadaqah Jariyah in Islamic jurisprudence. The Waqf of BTFHH is established and governed strictly according to classical Islamic fiqh — specifically the Hanafi school. Once an asset is declared Waqf, it becomes a permanent endowment: it cannot be sold, inherited, gifted, or repurposed outside its declared charitable purpose.
